This week the students finished sharing their Me Bags. Next we will make connections between ourselves and others.
We talked about the concepts of identity and culture. We read a book and watched a short video to find out what culture meant. The students have been finding examples of "culture" in books we have checked out of the library. I am hoping that a few parents will share their special culture with the class. We also discussed the difference between a "house" and a "home". They are starting to understand how their homes are very unique and represent who they really are.
